Once upon a time there was a young girl. God sent her to the earth to accomplish many directives. Life was not easy. Both parents were alcoholics. There was never food in the house. Survival was difficult. Somehow the girl made it through and began, without knowing she’d begun, working on the things the Lord needed her to do.
The girl grew up and became a woman. She got married and had seven children. Instead of getting easier, life got harder. Though, slowly, she was becoming aware that there was more to life than what she could experience with her five senses. Then, one morning, she awoke to see an angel standing at the foot of her bed. The angel told her to write. He said to write love, write her story, and to begin immediately. She was at a place in her life when she’d turned her back on God, yet, she obeyed and began writing, though she’d never written anything in her life, not even a journal.
Life didn’t get easier. It got harder. Bad things happened. Life was a struggle. Then one day, as she walked in the park in broad daylight, contemplating her life and also contemplating the books she was writing, Jesus came to speak to her. He didn’t appear to her. He simply began talking to her in her head. His presence was powerful. His love filled her to overflowing and the tears ran down her face. He told her many things, but the main thing was that things on the earth are not how they seem, however, the “gift” is real and the “gift” is free. You don’t have to jump through hoops or join churches to receive it. All you have to do is accept it.
She asked Jesus, “But aren’t I first supposed to at least confess that You are my Lord and Savior and that I believe in You?” And Jesus answered her. “How can you accept a gift from someone you don’t believe in?” He spoke with such authority and calmness and love.
After that the girl’s attitude began to change. She still had much to overcome. Then one day, she spoke to Jesus as she walked along a nature trail. She told Him that she was ashamed of how she’d messed up her life. She told Him that He must be very disappointed in her. He spoke to her again, a quick statement. “If you could see what we see you and your family have faced from the moment you were born, you would consider yourselves stalwart.”
From then on, she was given a gift of sorts. A gift where she could see through the veil to the dark forces of this world that follow us around constantly, looking for a crack in the armor to seep in and destroy us. These dark forces, demons, they were real. The Holy Spirit let her know that all her trials were honing her in the fire and making her strong.
The woman continued writing the books off and on as she went through her life. She drew closer and closer to God, and He answered her prayers for knowledge. It was a tremendously spiritual time and her faith grew by leaps and bounds. As she wrote, she asked the Lord how to get these books published, or how to find an agent, but he told her to trust Him. She did. When she had finished fourteen books for the Lord, He told her it was time. The time had come that God sent His servant daughter out, telling her to knock on the doors of His Watchmen and Watchwomen, His ministers and strong believers, and He will have them tell His children about the books and admonish them to read them.
Sadly, some of his Watchpeople and ministers had become arrogant and haughty and believed only their calling as a minister or watchperson or preacher or personality was important. Some of them believed that only they received messages from the Lord and were jealous that God spoke to this lowly woman. They ignored God’s servant daughter. They scoffed at her.
Still, there were a few who took it to the Lord with an open mind and received confirmation that this was indeed God’s daughter who was doing His will and they did as much as they could to get the message out.
This is a story God placed in my heart last night. I pray you take it in the way God meant it to be received.
John 10:27
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
John 16:13
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
